The Community Elevator

This video begins with two people entering an elevator. The author made it immediately evident that these two people were very different. The older man on the right kept looking over and appeared to be judging the much younger girl on the left who was obnoxiously chewing her gum. The girl began to play pop music off her phone loud enough for the man to hear. in retaliation, the man played opera music off his phone. They both turned up the volume and the music was clashing as another woman dressed in business attire entered. She glanced back at both of them and then grabbed her advanced phone and played the music genre that she enjoyed. This pattern appears to repeat itself as the scene cuts to six total people in the elevator all playing different types of music on their phones. The elevator doors open yet again revealing a man with a radio on his shoulder. As he enters the elevator the others begin turning their music off knowing that a speaker will overpower...

My Theme Songs

Every good show has a theme song that goes perfectly with what the show entails. However, my life is a lot longer than a TV show, so it's gonna need several "theme songs" to get me through each phase of my life thus far.  "Ain't no Mountain High Enough" by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell is an all-time favorite song of mine. I had a tough time making friends in school and this song is all about not belonging and feeling the need to breakaway. It was a while before I truly discovered who I was, and it's something that I'm still actively working on.  "The Bones" by Maren Morris would highlight the stable relationships I've had in my life. This song describes how if a person ha...

Audience Awareness

The commercial advertising Budweiser targeted its content towards young adults. This is evident because all the actors involved appeared to be young and having a great time. The advertisement tried to make it seem like drinking Budweiser was always a party, something young adults tend to enjoy. The commercial that was advertising Life Cereal targeted parents of younger children. The commercial had two kids refusing to eat cereal because they thought it would taste bad since it was "healthy". They make the kid who is the pickiest eater try it; after one bite he appeared to be enjoying it. Parenst would see this commercial and may believe that this is a heathy alternative for even the pickiest of eaters. The last commercial that advertised Nike products targeted athletes and anyone who indulges in physical actuvuty. It was an inspirational commercial that will appeal to many athletes because as an athete you are taught to always want more or to push yourself to ...
