Spotting A Liar

 When Meyer states that lying is a cooperative act means that both people have to participate in order for a lie to be successful. This means that the person being lied to has to truly believe what they are being told. I disagree with statement because in order for someone to lie to they just have to be telling me false information, I don't have to believe what they are saying. Lying is a way of connecting what we wish we were with what we truly are because we can lie in ways that make ourselves look better. When someone believes a lie that we wish was true it makes us feel as if that lie is a reality. One could lie about getting amazing grades when in reality that person is failing. The positive response of the person being lied to makes the liar feel how they wish they did, like they are doing well in school. I agree with Truth #2. Dear Future Me

 Dear Future Me, By the time you graduate college you will have (hopefully) grown a lot as an individual. I hope you grew in confidence, enhanced your communication skills, gained more leadership skills, obtained more financial skills, and learned how to be more disciplined. Growing in confidence will allow me to earn more confidence and allow for more opportunities that otherwise I would've passed on. Enhancing my communication skills will allow me to better articulate what I'm trying to say. This will allow me to explain my reasoning and allow me to communicate with others more efficiently. I wish to learn more leadership skills because these are transervable skills that will be useful in any occupation field. I hope to have better fincacil skills because as of now I'm clueless on taxes, bills, and a lot of other financial details. This is a necessary skill for the real world. Lastly, learning more disciplinary skills will allowed me to live a happier and healthier life. ...
