Dear Future Me

 Dear Future Me,

By the time you graduate college you will have (hopefully) grown a lot as an individual. I hope you grew in confidence, enhanced your communication skills, gained more leadership skills, obtained more financial skills, and learned how to be more disciplined. Growing in confidence will allow me to earn more confidence and allow for more opportunities that otherwise I would've passed on. Enhancing my communication skills will allow me to better articulate what I'm trying to say. This will allow me to explain my reasoning and allow me to communicate with others more efficiently. I wish to learn more leadership skills because these are transervable skills that will be useful in any occupation field. I hope to have better fincacil skills because as of now I'm clueless on taxes, bills, and a lot of other financial details. This is a necessary skill for the real world. Lastly, learning more disciplinary skills will allowed me to live a happier and healthier life. Some days I don't follow a schedule that will benefit me the most and being more disciplined will overall increase my mental and physical life.

As a child, her grandmother told her she was diagnosed with a deadly disease that caused her to remain indoors for the rest of her life. The only person she ever talked to was her grandmother. Audience Awareness

       The commercial advertising Budweiser targeted its content towards young adults. This is evident because all the actors involved appeared to be young and having a great time. The advertisement tried to make it seem like drinking Budweiser was always a party, something young adults tend to enjoy. The commercial that was advertising Life Cereal targeted parents of younger children. The commercial had two kids refusing to eat cereal because they thought it would taste bad since it was "healthy". They make the kid who is the pickiest eater try it; after one bite he appeared to be enjoying it. Parenst would see this commercial and may believe that this is a heathy alternative for even the pickiest of eaters. The last commercial that advertised Nike products targeted athletes and anyone who indulges in physical actuvuty. Revealing the Truth

 Children are perhaps some of the most innocent people. They base everything they know off of their own assumptions from observations or information others have told them. They trust that those around them are telling the complete truth. Unfortunately, everything they are told isn't always the truth - especially if it comes from a sibling. From my personal experience, older siblings tend to be the source of many false beliefs. One belief, in particular, went on for about a year of my childhood.  As a child, my older brother Collin was incredibly lazy. He would always ask someone else to do the simplest of tasks for him, like getting his shoes from the closet or grabbing him a water bottle. He realized the other members of the family were reluctant to do these favors for him.
